The Debt (Death) Trap

[January 1, 2015]
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Rom 6:23)
The Greek word for “wages” in the scripture above is opsonion, which means “payment for work”; and is derived from the word opsarion, which means “fish” (fish that is to be eaten). On the surface we can see the relationship between payment for work and fish, in that you give food back to the person who does work so they can recover the energy they spent to do the work. This is why you must pay people to do work; and the harder they work and higher value work requires more payment, because work and money (what we exchange for work) are directly related. However, there is a greater spiritual meaning behind “wages” and “fish for consumption” that we shall explore later.
According to the US Debt Clock the USA has a national government debt of about $18 Trillion dollars; however the Total US Debt is around $61.6 Trillion dollars, which includes the debt of the people in mortgages, personal loans, student loans, and credit cards. To understand the vastness of this debt we must realize that the US government (federal/state/local) has annual tax revenues of about $5.7 Trillion US dollars, and the annual government spending is $6.2 Trillion dollars. Thus, the US government runs a constant deficit because it spends more than it receives and has no money to pay off its debts; rather it continues to accumulate debt. Interestingly, most of the national debt was accumulated from the G. W. Bush administration to the Obama administration (about $12 Trillion dollars and counting).
Note that the majority of the $12 Trillion dollars that came under Bush and Obama comes from the wars that the US engaged in and the financial crises that developed in the banking/corporate system through greed. Remember that wars are extremely costly (in both lives and money), not to mention the billions of USD cash that was sent to Iraq by the US government to finance the local war operations and the Iraqi banks, of which only ½ of the at least 12 billion USD cash made it to the banks. Also, as a way to maintain the financial debt crisis of 2008 the US government gave the US banks over a trillion dollars, which many used to fund executive bonuses. Further, the $11.3 Trillion USD M2 money supply is also considered debt because money is debt, in that all money is a debt (note) owed by the US government to the Central Bank, which is a private organization. Of course the US government (and all other governments) do not actually own the debt; it is the citizens of the country who are responsible to pay all this debt.
Based on the numbers provided by the www.usdebtclock.org the countries with the best financial positions are Russia and China, which could be inaccurate because those governments are not known for their transparency and honesty. Nonetheless, the so-called G7 countries, which are supposed to be the most developed, have unsustainable levels of debt and many are above the levels of so-called developing countries. It would seem that to be considered a developed country you must have extremely high levels of debt with a well-developed infrastructure to maintain the Debt Machine.
The question is why is the global financial system based upon debt? Ancient people used things of value for money, such as gold and silver, which is what the Lord provided for mankind to use as money so that man could trade work or items of value for something that had value. We know this because of how the Bible describes the riches of Abraham, the friend of God.
“And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.” (Gen 13:2)
[Part of the reason that gold and silver is considered something of value is because they are creations of God, work must be done (mining) to obtain them, and they must be refined (more work) to make them pure (which increases their value).]
To be rich is to have a lot of something (abundance) of value. A thing of value is related to power, which means it can cause work to be done or reduces work. The further away that something is related to work the less power it has and in some cases has no value. For example, cattle has a lot value because it is food used to fuel our body so that we can work. However, animals that we do not eat have less value; humans have the highest value because work done on earth is through mankind. Mankind is God’s highest physical creation and He gave us dominion over all things on the earth; thus we have the most value.
In the scripture below, notice how the Lord deals with the servant who did not produce any increase from the money He gave him.
“Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo,there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matt 25:24-30)
The servant with one talent of gold did not do any work with the money given unto him out of fear. Rather than being congratulated for not losing any of the money the Lord called him wicked and lazy (slothful) because if he was so afraid he could have at least put the money with a good bank (exchanger) who would have given him interest (usury) on the money; thus, the money would have done some work and increased. The one talent servant was not wise enough to understand the Lord’s requirement of increase, so he lost his value before the Lord and everything he had was taken from him and he was cast away from the Lord, as a thing of waste. Note that the Lord commands that usury (charging interest) not be done among His people, only strangers can be charged interest.
[Of course, today we would not put money into a bank with hopes of interest, due to the low interest rates, fees, and taxes would start to eat into the money and deplete it. Banks should be used for temporary storage of money until the money can be converted into something of value, because today’s money has no value.]
All created things have some intrinsic value because work has been put into its creation. Even the smallest creature of God is valued because of the work that God put into creating it. When mankind creates things there is value in it because of the work done to create it, but for the creation to have value to others it must help them in some way in relation to work. Even comfort is related to work because the only way to have comfort is to maintain an environment that brings comfort, which requires work. Rest is also related to work because without rest you cannot do your best work. This is why the Lord gives His people the Sabbath Day so they can physically/spiritually rest and their soul gain wisdom through His word for greater ease in work. God’s intention is that our work be a joy, not a burden, and that our reward for work would be something of value, not debt.
The Debt Machine
The dictionary defines “a machine” as:
“an apparatus consisting of interrelated parts with separate functions, used in the performance of some kind of work”
We have discussed in several previous articles the organizing principle behind the world system; that is, the world is a “Sin System”. A system is very efficient at producing the thing it is named after, which in the case of the world is sin. It makes sense that the world is a sin system because it was setup and is run by satan, the father of sin. But not only is satan a sinner he requires sin so that he may continue to exist on the earth. Why? Because, as we have revealed many times in previous articles, it is through sin that mankind exchanges energy with satan and his host of demons. When mankind sins he transfers spiritual energy from himself and gives it to the kingdom of satan so that satan can continue to rule over the nations. This means that mankind dies while the kingdom of satan lives.
At a high level, the sin system works through government, business, religion, and entertainment. We will show you how these institutions operate to produce sin in a systematic way, but we want to be clear that these institutions are not wrong or sinful; rather they are corrupted versions of what God intends for mankind.
The highest institution is supposed to be relationship with God, which man calls religion even though God does not desire a relationship based on religion (to understand this you must know the difference between relationship and religion). It is through our relationship with God, through Jesus Christ (the Word), that all activities of mankind are to be established. Government is meant to bring order to the activities of mankind by being the place where the Lord’s principals of work are revealed and how the Lord wants us to live together is organized. Business is where work is done to maintain our living conditions and a ordering of work is done to increase the efficient use of resources (people and the environment). What we call entertainment today is related to the rest and rejuvenation that comes from praising God and maintaining an atmosphere of worship as we do the work that the Lord has called us into.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” (Is 9:6-7)
When Jesus, the Son of God, started His ministry on earth He proclaimed that the kingdom of God was at hand. This means that the physical manifestation of God’s kingdom on earth was about to come to pass. The actual physical appearance of God’s kingdom occurred on the day of Pentecost after the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ; for this is the day that the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ was empowered from on High and God started to bring people into His Church. The Lord’s Church is where we are to see how the kingdom of God operates; thus the true Church is the seed planted by God that shall grow up into the kingdom of God in every nation of the world.
However, let us be clear that it is not ANY church that spreads its wings over the whole earth that we are to embrace as being that representation of the kingdom of God; for the devil shall bring forth many falsehoods and fairytales. The ONLY way to identify God’s Church (and thus His people) is through the Bible; for the Lord has revealed to us HOW His people operate so that we would not be fooled by the synagogues of satan.
“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” (John 13:35)
The true TEST for the Church is having love to each other. Note that it is not having love for people outside the Church; for if you love someone then you would want them to come into relationship with Love (God is Love). Thus, our love is focused within the Church and our desire for those outside is for them to come into the Church, which is established based on the commandment given by the Lord (through Peter) in Acts 2:38. However, love is not just a word or a feeling it is how we operate within the Church in every area. The commandment is to love your neighbour as you love yourself; so what you want for yourself (in love) you also want for your neighbour.
Nonetheless, people have so many misunderstanding of love due to the Canaanite evil spirit of compromise and non-judgement that the Lord revealed clearly HOW the His Church operates in the Bible, so that we would not be fooled.
“And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.” (Acts 2:44-45)
"And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need." (Acts 4:32, 34-35)
Notice how the true Church operates; God calls people into His Church, they come into relationship with Him according to Acts 2:38, they bring all their possessions into the Church and have ownership in the Church; they literally live in a community with common ownership and participate and share in the work and fellowship of the Church. The governing body of the Church community is appointed by God and they are responsible for ministering to the physical and spiritual needs of the community. However, the whole community works to bring the gospel to all nations, so that more communities that operate like the original one can spring up.
To truly operate as a Church community we would need to be independent from the world in terms of our ability to survive outside of the systems of the world. This does NOT mean we are to try to occupy a small island somewhere to isolate ourselves from the world, nor do we have to find some remote wilderness area to live. Indeed, we are the light of the world, so we must be around others to bring them into Love. However, we must not entangle ourselves in the systems of the world, nor are we supposed to operate within the community like the world, even though we will use some of the same technology that is found in the world. It is important that we are organized in such a way that we are not dependent on any aspect of the world system to survive the judgements that shall be poured out on the world to destroy it.
Building the true Church is not an easy task, because there is so much to learn from the Lord and to unlearn from the world. It is especially critical that the people who are the leaders of the Church are humble and bold to receive instruction from the Lord and to go forth and do what He says. To be humble and bold is to be meek. Those who feel led into a community type church must first seek the Lord and watch the leadership of the community to see if this is where the Lord wants him/her to live; for there are many false prophets, cults, mad people, and religions who are led by satan to devour the nations. If you are not sure then study and understand God’s scripture on love, 1 Cor 13. Also, remember love does not have any violence associated with it; for violence is forcing your will upon another. God does NOT force His will upon us and we are NOT to establish or be a part of anything that forces its will upon others. The world governments operate in violence (force) but God’s people must operate in love (we do not force).
In the Church community ONLY God’s will must be done, which means His commandments, and judgements are keenly followed by all believers; from the greatest to the least. If anyone refuses to follow the Lord’s will, according to the Word of God, after they have been approached with love, then he/she must separate from the community; for a Church community is a place where God’s judgements rule and justice is very swift. So even though we are a peace loving people, satan and his people are not to trifle with us; for our God is a jealous consuming fire.
As we stated above a machine is something that is efficient at producing something. A debt machine produces debt, but a love machine produces love. The Body of Christ is supposed to be a Love Machine that reminds us that our only debt is to love one another. In this world, government, business, religion, and entertainment are focused on teaching and producing sin, so that the world becomes full of debt. Sin produces debt because the judgement of sin is death, and since God is longsuffering that death sentence is not carried out immediately when you sin. Thus, you have a debt before God due to sin, in that you owe Him your life because of sin. What is true in the spirit is made manifest in the flesh. The debt machine is the physical manifestation of the sin system created by satan; for satan cannot hide himself and he is the father of sin.
The more the world sins the more its debts increases. This is why money became debt to reveal the sins of the world; for if your money is debt then the world is awash in sin. Thus, the financial system of the world is a debt system, in that it trades instruments of debt (death), instead of instruments of value.
The debt machine is a by-product of the sin system and it efficiently churns out debt through the global financial system. The Lord just showed me how this building of debt is directly related to the building of death, by looking at the 911 Twin Tower (World Trade Center) attack in the financial center of the world, New York City.
What were the architects of the 911 attack interested in? Money! Greed was their motivation. They wanted to have more money to fund the next 10 generations of the sons of satan that they are spawning. How do you guarantee more funding from the richest countries in the world? War! They used the same tactic that Hitler used to give himself dictatorial powers in Germany; they destroyed an icon that stood for strength to get the people angry so they could lash out at whomever they said was responsible. Hitler said it was the communists who destroyed the government building, so that he could seize power and murder people as he liked. The 911 architects pointed the finger at religious fundamentalists, but focused on Afghanistan and Iraq, so that they could incite wars and murder more people than Hitler (the devil is always trying to outdo himself).
There is more money spent in warfare than almost anything else, due to the multitude of weapons that must be purchased on a continual basis, from both sides. The multi-billion dollar companies that sell weapons to the governments of the world only benefit when there are continual wars. Thus, governments increase the debts of the nations to increase death through wars and conflict. We do not know who the architects of the 911 attack were but they certainly have high-level influence in the US government and/or military and most likely other governments in the world, in order to lead the governments into whatever direction they feel is beneficial for them (so they can continue to rape the nations through debt and death).
[It was US President Dwight Eisenhower who warned the world of the military-industrial complex and its potential abuse of power. Let them with ears hear.]
Remember that the governmental system of the world was setup by satan and his demons (through deceived and deceitful men), with the Jebusite evil spirit of hate pulling the levers of the governments everywhere. Thus, we are not to be surprised that our governments are controlled by the sons of satan in every country. Note that the politicians are not necessarily the ones who control the governments of the world; indeed the military has more “power” than the so-called government in many countries. The Sin System also operates in religion, business, and entertainment. We can see how government and business work together to feed greed, especially in the 911 attack and the tax system that feeds the rich and starves the poor. The tax system was always a means of extracting money and resources from the poorest of the nations through violence to feed the richest. Religion focuses on idolatry so that the world would worship satan, knowingly and unknowingly. Entertainment is satan’s teaching mechanism and is how he indoctrinates the nations to walk in sin by teaching; immorality, violence, murder, deceit, etc.. Sometimes the lessons that come from entertainment are hidden (subliminal) so people are taught without knowing what they are being taught. However, now the lessons are not being hid; violence, theft, and wickedness are taught as solutions to obstacles.
The devil loves warfare and will continually spread violence as a means to force the nations to obey him.
By the way, the root cause of the 2008 financial crisis was greedy people using debt to buy bad debt. Banks, financial and insurance companies around the world feasted on an orgy of bad mortgages mostly originating out of the USA, that were presented as good debt by fraudulent organizations. "Good debt" generally means that the people who hold the debt can pay it off, but in the case of the mortgages coming out of the US many mortgage companies were giving mortgages and loans to people who could not pay them off because the mortgage sellers were paid upfront for every mortgage that they signed up. The fact that the person who took on the debt would not be able to pay for it later did not matter to the mortgage seller because he made his money upfront. Thus, you had a fraud being sold fraudulently using debt to purchase it (the money that was borrowed is also debt, because money is debt). Reality hit when the mortgages were no longer being paid and there was an increasing number of people wanting to sell the home on which the mortgage was based on.
With so many people wanting to come out of the overpriced asset (house) at the same time, because they could not pay the mortgage, a glut of houses entered the market. Thus the price of houses fell vastly below the value of the mortgages so the banks and financial institutions that owned the mortgages had debts instead of assets. One day they had something of value based on the fraudulent marketplace, then the next day they had worthless assets based on reality. A system based on greed always ends in massive destruction, because greed is selfish and continues to grow to the detriment of the system, like cancer.
The economic system of the world is based on the mismanagement of scarce resources, which leads to a market system that operates based on greed and fear. Thus, the economic system of the world is run by people who will buy and sell based on mainly 2 emotions; greed (selfishness) so that they can get power (money) to survive, for they know that they shall surely die; and fear so that they run away from things (real or imagined) that will result in the loss of power (money) leading to their death (debt). Both greed and fear have no bounds, so the markets of the world will always operate in extremes. The markets rise based on greed, founded upon fraud; and the markets fall when truth or deceit are revealed due to fear. Yet, the markets are used to set the prices on which goods and services are sold to the nations.
Do we really have scarce resources? What the world system tells us is that there is not enough for everyone so we have to hoard or kill in order to eat (survive). Should our economy be based on limited resources, isn’t there enough for everyone? Where does the idea of a limited amount of things come from? Satan and his demons! Thus, “scarce resources” is a satanic (evil) idea, planted in the minds of men so they can operate based on greed and fear. From this we get the doctrine of “survival of the fittest”, which is the underlying concept of so-called human evolution.
Survival of the Fittest
The meaning of “survival of the fittest”, according to Wikipedia.org:
("Survival of the fittest" is a phrase that originated in evolutionary theory as a way of describing the mechanism of natural selection. It is more commonly used today in other contexts, to refer to a supposed greater probability that "fit" as opposed to "unfit" individuals will survive some test. In this contexts, "fit" refers to "most well adapted to the current environment," which differs from common notions of the binary 'fit' and 'unfit.')
The idea of some biological evolutionary process at work that led to life and the diversity of life originated in Greek philosophy. Charles Darwin, who is credited for being the father of the theory of evolution, refined the idea with the addition of “natural selection” as the mechanism for the establishment of life forms. Natural selection basically says that those life forms who are best able to survive in the environment that they live in will be “naturally selected” to continue living. Thus, natural selection means best able to survive in the environment you live in or “survival of the fittest”.
Herbert Spencer came up with the phrase “survival of the fittest” after reading Darwin’s book. According to Wikipedia.org this is how the phrase came to be:
(Herbert Spencer first used the phrase – after reading Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species – in his Principles of Biology (1864), in which he drew parallels between his own economic theories and Darwin's biological ones, writing, "This survival of the fittest, which I have here sought to express in mechanical terms, is that which Mr. Darwin has called 'natural selection', or the preservation of favoured races in the struggle for life.")
Spencer thought that the concept of evolution was a good thing because it should supposedly lead to “better” people, and thus a better society. However, these utopian thoughts are based on a lack of knowledge and understanding of the “invisible winds” that shapes mankind and nations. These supposed great intellectual minds that we based our societies on were deceived fools, feeding the nations satanic ideas covered with “candy”, founded in pride. Notice how Spencer linked Darwin’s ideas to his thoughts of economic systems and that life was a struggle that would naturally preserve the races that were best adapted. This meant that Spencer, who was mostly anti-government, believed that people would eventually organize themselves to live together in the best way (doing away with the need for government).
The idea of government is not man’s idea; for we were created to live in an orderly manner by the Creator. The issue is not government, per se, but rather who that government serves and is led by (government by the people and for the people is very different than government by Jesus Christ and for Jesus Christ). Today’s nations are run by satan and his demons, through foolish men and women. Governments are setup by political systems with the idea that the people of the nation must select the people who govern them. The process of government selection and the government itself are run by laws created by previous governments. This may seem like a fair and balanced way to establish government, instead of having a king who dictates how things are to be governed; however the main issues with this approach is that men created the laws and men enforces them through violence. Since it is God, the Creator, who gave man the idea of government (through Nimrod) shouldn’t all governments be established by God and operate through God? Nimrod took God’s idea and built his own government, which is iniquity, instead of God’s government, which is righteousness.
The political system of the United States of America was established after the people made war with the United Kingdom because they did not like the laws that were being imposed on them. The British tried to enforce their laws and taxes through violence but the Americans resisted and defeated the British to gain their independence. The founding fathers of the USA then created a political system modeled after the Roman Republic, which gave the citizens the task of voting for their leadership, and the rulership of law. Today most countries, other than the few Communist and Monarchy countries still left, have a political system where the people elect the government.
Since the idea of a central government comes from God, then we know that all nations must have a government. The alternative would be to live in tribes with inconsistent behaviour throughout and continuous violence within and between tribes. Government is meant to organize the work and behaviour of people leading to better living conditions for all, but mankind cannot “evolve” to such a condition on his own because of pride, hate, selfishness, greed, fear, and evil. Without government mankind would quickly go back to the state of wickedness that existed before God flooded the earth and destroyed all the people except for Noah and his family. Why? Because people would do what is right in their own minds, and pride would lead to continuous violence.
After the flood, it was Nimrod, the black Cushite, who gained the wisdom from God about the need for government to organize the people and maintain that order. However, even though Nimrod got the idea from God he did not humble himself before God so he could get the instructions on how to establish government. We know this because Nimrod went forth and built his own kingdoms, which is what men continue to do to this day.
“And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.” (Gen 10:8-10)
Notice that Nimrod’s kingdom began with Babel, which means confusion. So even though Nimrod went out to establish order his boldness and pride did not allow him to wait on the Lord for instruction, so satan whispered in his ears and he went forth and became the first king of the nations. Pride then also led the kingdom of Nimrod to build the tower of Babel as a defiance against God in case He sent the flood on them again. Thus, the Lord judged them, which led to the physical manifestation of the confusing evil spirits that were among them in their speech, so they could not understand each other, which then led to their separation. Thus, Nimrod’s kingdom was scattered, but the seed of his governance went with all the people throughout the world.
If you study any kingdom, empire, or government of any age you will always see the same elements; pride, greed, violence, corruption, power mongering, deceit, wickedness, and death. Further, it seems the larger the government is the greater the increase of evil within and without the government. Our so-called modern day governments are no different than the ancient Chinese who started a kind of government system called Legalism around 221 BC, where rigid laws were put in place to rule over the people (similar to the current Communist regime that China has today). The Chinese government who started Legalism used it as a tool to place total control over the population by forcing people to spy on each other under fear of punishment if their neighbour was found in violation of a law. The system caused people to feed upon each other and resulted in many deaths and tortures.
The Nazis later used the same neighbourly spying method to locate as many Jews as possible so they could maximize the systematic murdering of Jews in Europe. Today we see this same method being used by government tax collection agencies globally as a means to maximize tax collection. On the surface, the sharing of one’s wealth appears to be a good and noble thing to do; however, the way wealth is shared is the issue. Taxation was never meant to be a way for people to participate in the development of a country by sharing a percentage of their increase with others through the government, whose main work was to distribute to all according to their need. Rather taxation was always a means by the king (and wealthy) to extort from the poor and needy by violence, so as to live luxuriously off the backs of the people. Extortion was also used to maintain the rulership and army (power) of the king, in order to increase violence. To this day taxation is used to fund corruption, greed, violence, and wickedness.
[Note, we are not saying that anyone should refuse payment of taxes because of sin, for we are to render unto Cesar the things that belong to him, and give to God the things that belong to Him. We are to rise above the governments of this world and give as the Lord Jesus taught us, even as He taught the rich man; establish your relationship with God first, then establish your relationship with men and money.]
When the children of Israel wanted a king like all the other nations around them, this is what the Lord told them they would receive:
“And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your olive yards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants. And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his officers, and to his servants. And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants.” (Sam 8:11-17)
Notice how much taking the king and his government does from the people. Why? Because this is the nature of the Beast. All of man’s kingdoms and governments are run by the Beast, which is comprised of the Jebusite, Amorite, and Girgashite evil spirits. Their system of government is run by laws that are forced upon the nations with violence so that the nations would obey satan, so he can feel like he is a god. And they (the Beast) teach the world to sin (in perfect harmony) so they can feed off the spiritual energy of mankind.
The political governments of today are modeled after the violent Romans, who expertly spread death throughout the known world to force their way upon the nations they conquered. If you base something on wickedness then your result will be more wickedness, which is what we live in to this day. However, there is hope for something better because God did not create us to live in violence and wickedness. Our Lord Jesus Christ planted the seed for a new type of government that shall be established within the Kingdom of God.
In the Kingdom of God, the nations shall be run by righteous men and women who are appointed and empowered by God, with a foundation of love. However, before the Kingdom of God manifests the true Church of our Lord Jesus Christ must rise up in the earth to be a witness to mankind the reality of God’s kingdom and His governance.
God’s Government
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” (Isiah 9:6)
[We have done a more extensive article on governing (The Government), so we will focus on what we have learned so far on sharing wealth within God’s government]
As we said before, the foundation of God’s government is love. God sent Jesus (His Word) into the world because He loves the world and wants to save it from satan and his beastly system. Jesus paid the debt for all people who freely choose to come into everlasting relationship with God through repentance and baptism in Jesus’ Name. On the day of Pentecost after the resurrection of our Lord the true Church of our Lord Jesus Christ was established through the pouring out of the Holy Spirit. On that day about 3000 souls were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and thus entered into relationship with Him and became part of the Body of Christ, who is the Bride of Christ, who is the true Church.
The men and women who enter into relationship with God through Jesus Christ and, more importantly, abide in that relationship become candidates for God’s government; for it is through the Son of God that the Lord shall establish His government. Thus, we are to expect that the new form of government to come from the true Church, which is a Church that is modeled after the Church revealed in the Bible. The Biblical Church is a community of believers NOT a building within a community of sinners. Thus, the majority of so-called churches that exist today are NOT the true Church; for they do not even meet the basic criteria of being a Biblical Church, which must be a community of believers.
Since we can dismiss most churches and Christian movements, because they are NOT a community, we can then start looking at many community type groups. Unfortunately, most of these community groups are cults who revere their leader as though he/she was some kind of god, like the Jim Jones and David Koresh cults who all perished together. There are other communities that we found have some elements of the original Church (e.g. Ben Israel, which was started by the late Art Katz), but we see some aspects missing, though there is a foundation of love. There are other communities that suffer from legalism, and are backward looking, in that they do not embrace technology to make their lives more efficient, which are manifestations of the Jebusite and Girgashite evil spirits, respectively.
One of the main elements of a true Church community is the idea of sharing everything; for the original Church sold their possessions and held everything in common through the leadership of the Church. The leadership was responsible for ensuring everyone had what they needed, which could only be done by living together in a community. The community was not focused on earthly possessions, in terms of hoarding, but rather that everyone lived comfortably together. Nonetheless, there were some elements of what some may consider hoarding, because the Church leadership (government) must save for the times of wrath that must come. Even though God shall cover His people during the times of His wrath they will still be impacted because of the interconnection of people and goods.
[God’s covering shall not be a disappearing act, like the rapture believing churches preach. God shall cover His people in a similar way that He covered Noah and his family (and the animals).]
Recently the Lord had me look at Romans 13, which is a scripture related to government. (Keep in mind that the number 13 is God’s number of unconditional love, according 1 Cor 13.) We will focus on verses 1-8:
“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.” (Rom 13:1-8)
The word “power(s)” in the above scripture means authority and points to those who are authorized to bear rule (govern) over the people. Many of man’s churches have used this scripture to legitimize the governments of this world and the systems they have put in place to rule over the nations. However, if you look at the scripture it clearly talks about the people ordained (chosen) by God, which is not how the governments of the world are established. The world’s governments are either elected through a deceitful political process, or forced upon the people through the violence of kings and/or armies. Even though the election of governments seems “fair” on the surface, it still operates in violence because its rulership is through forcing various laws upon the people. Also, we know that elected governments are done through a process of who you know and how much you have, so it’s the rich and well-connected that tend to bear rule. Thus, the foundation of man’s governments is violence, which means they CANNOT be the ministers of the God of Israel.
Some may remember that God sent the children of Israel into the land of Canaan and told them to kill everyone and take the land and everything in it for themselves. On the surface this appears like God established the children of Israel through violence, however, this is not true. What the Lord was doing was removing evil off the land so that the land would be clear for the establishment of His government, which would not appear until after Christ. The government that the children of Israel lived under was a shadow of the government that was to come; for they rejected relationship with God and chose to live under laws. God spoke the covenant that establishes relationship with Him in the 10 Commandments at Mount Sinai, but the people choose to hear from Moses instead of God.
[The 10 Commandments are not to be looked at as laws, per se, but rather the ground rules for relationship with the Creator. God covenants to be your God and increase goodness in your life eternally if you covenant with Him to maintain these ground rules as an act of love. There is no force (violence) because love cannot be forced, and a covenant with God must be an act of freewill.]
The parliamentary system of government out of the UK uses the word “minister” for people within their governmental system; however we know they are only using the word to appear as if there is some godliness in their system (which there is not). All governments of this world are rooted in violence from the days of Nimrod, until this very day. God no longer suffers violence as a means to accomplish His works. God’s people are no longer permitted any means of violence (force) from the days of John the Baptist (Matt 11:12). This means we can’t kill, use fear tactics, use deceit, create and/or enforce laws, or do anything that has any aspect of force involved in it. However, we are called to be judges based on the laws and righteousness of God, which are all founded in love, because they come from God.
In all of God’s judgements, the judge cannot be operating in the same things that he is judging or his/her judgement is null and void; for how can you judge someone when you are doing the same things? This is why the world’s legal system is really an injustice system because the world is evil, so it cannot remove or reduce evil. The world system (a sin system) only increases and multiplies evil; however, the Lord tasks His ministers to remove sin by bringing God’s judgement to bear on the lives and dealings of mankind. But God’s ministers can never lift a finger to use force upon anyone within the Church or in the world. This does not mean the Lord’s ministers have no ability to remove sin through judgement, as if they were some “paper tigers” where they speak a word of judgement but there is no consequence to the evil doer.
[Indeed it is the world system that is a “paper tiger” because it has teeth but no authority to bear rule from the Creator. The devil stole the rulership position of mankind through trickery and put himself in the position of God to mankind. Nonetheless, God is still Sovereign over all things, so the day of judgement is making haste upon the devil and his sin system.]
In the above Romans scripture, it says that the ministers of God bear the sword to execute vengeance and wrath upon evil doers. Vengeance and wrath come from the Spirit of God when the ministers of God take up the Sword (the Word of God) to bring judgement upon evil and the evil doers. Remember the widow who the Lord told His disciples constantly went to the judge until he avenged her upon her adversary; but then He wondered if He shall find this kind of faith in the earth when He comes (Luke 18:1-8). Indeed the Lord calls His servants to judge the Church first, in order to remove evil, and then the world system to bring His wrath and destruction on the systems of the world and those who uphold them.
Interestingly, the same Romans scripture talks about paying tribute to God’s government, which most people see as taxation (a forced form of payment to the world’s government). Why would we give over money to the government in God’s system? In the Church and in the Kingdom of God money will still be used as an exchange for work; however we do not “work” for money, we work for the Lord. To maintain our physical needs money is traded with others for goods, services, and food in the most efficient manner possible. When we give money to God’s government it is for them to build and maintain the infrastructure and systems that God has put in place; that is, the government is truly a means to distribute to all, according to need.
In Romans 6:23 (at the beginning of this article), we noted that the word used for “wages” (payment for work) is the Greek word opsarion, which means “fish” (for consumption). The relationship between fish and payment is related to the fact that when we work we must replenish the energy that we expended with food. Also, fish is by far the most abundant creature on earth; we could never exhaust the supply of fish in the seas and oceans of the world. Thus, money should be thought of as unlimited supply, so there should never be any need to hold on to it as though it could run out. Of course, in this world there will be times to save up money and other resources for the times of wrath that is to come.
In the Church and the Kingdom of God there is no such thing as rich or poor (or class of people) because all is shared; however when God increases us we first give back to Him the first 10% (tithe) and then we share the remaining 90% within our family unit (70%) and our neighbour (20%). The 20% portion could be called tribute to the King (Jesus Christ), which goes to God’s government to share among our brethren. Whatever is left over from our personal (familial) use of the 70% would then be stored in the God’s Governmental Treasury in our personal account to be used towards work and more increase for us and others.
The 20% figure that goes to God’s government is derived from the portion that Joseph required the Egyptians to give to Pharaoh to save for the times of famine that was to come (Gen 41:34); for God had appointed Joseph from birth to be governor of Egypt. The 70% is prophetically related to the 70 nations that emerged from the 3 sons of Noah in Genesis 10. The 70 are one family and one people.
We do not have the full understanding of how God’s government deals with money (nor would we reveal it fully), other than it is mostly concerned with sharing and never uses force, unlike the world’s government who continually takes by force. To be exceedingly clear, the portion that brother Paul calls “tribute” is not a tax (a burden), per se, it is the portion of our increase that we share with our neighbour, which goes to God’s government for the purpose of sharing. There is no such thing as forced sharing (and the percentage does not increase) because love cannot be forced. But if you refuse to share then the love of God is not in you and you cannot live in God’s Church or His Kingdom (you can continue to live in the violent world system until it and you are taken away forever). God showed us His judgement upon Ananias and Sapphira, the married couple who operated deceitfully with money in the Church, so that we would know how He deals with evildoers in His Church (Acts 5:1-11) when His leadership judges according to His word.
In Romans 13:8, we are told to not have any debt with any man other than to love him. Thus, the only debt we seek, which we must pay (for wicked is the man who refuses to pay his debts) is to love mankind. Like the money debt of the world, the debt of love can never be paid off; for we are always required to love as a foundation of our relationship with the Creator. If you do not have or want a relationship with the Creator then you cannot love and death and financial debts abides in you, like the kingdoms of this world. Now it should be clear why “the love of money is the root of all evil”.
The way the Lord wants the world to operate is like a body (this why the Church is called the Body of Christ). God designed and created the bodies of all creatures to operate as one. There is total harmony within the body, in that the arm is not in war with the foot nor do the teeth despise the tongue. Blood is circulated throughout the entire body, there is no part that is cut off because every part is important and requires blood to do the work it was designed to do. The body has lots of systems to maintain its functions and to keep it operating. The governing part of the body is the brain and the rest of the body is subject onto it in different ways, yet the brain does not act like it is better than the rest of the body.
When cancer, which is a manifestation of the Girgashite evil spirit of greed, selfishness, and fleshiness, enters the body it lives for itself and takes the resources of the body for itself without adding anything back to the body (and does not take direction from the brain). Cancer starves the rest of the body of nutrients, which ends up killing the body (and the cancer) because the systems that require resources do not get enough of it. Cancer, like the governments and systems of this world, continually take because they are evil manifestations and do not know how to love, thus they lead to death and debt because they are living on borrowed time.
[Note that the evil spirit that manifests in cancer does not necessarily originate from the person who develops the disease; the person may be living in an environment where the evil spirit abides. Nonetheless, the curse causeless cannot come, so pride is always a factor.]
Love is more than a feeling. He is a Spirit (the Holy Spirit) that physically dwells within the children of God that manifests outward in good works, according to the Spirit of God. How we live is the greatest demonstration of the Spirit that dwells in us; for if we are raised up to share then we will live that way. But the world system is based on selfishness, not sharing, so we cannot expect love to manifest in the world. It is the true Church community that is scattered throughout the world that shall reveal love to the nations and bring them into the Body of Christ.
Love cannot be bought, sold, or forced. Love is greater than money and All of Creation, yet it is the debt that we owe, first to the Creator then to ourselves and to mankind.
“And now abideth faith, hope, love [agape], these three; but the greatest of these is love [agape].” (1 Cor 13:13)
